Fear Of Vampires

Fear of Vampires was added with the 3.0 update of Hopes & Fears. This is loosely based on the Fear of Ghosts from the base game.

Triggers:
There are two main triggers for this fear; being near a vampire or being bitten by one. Chances are fairly high to trigger this fear (50%) and are even higher for Sims with the Paranoid and Erratic traits (additionally, Sims will have a higher chance of developing this fear if they Dislike Vampires and will be unable to gain this fear if they Like Vampires from the Secret Occults mod). Naturally, vampires cannot develop a Fear of Vampires and if a Sim has the max level of the Vampire Lore skill, they also are immune to developing this fear.

Confrontation:
There are a few levels of confrontation with this fear. There are a range of Wants available to guide your Sim in how to overcome this fear and once it is finally fully overcome (having thrown a cure at a vampire when prompted), this fear will never return.
