Music and dance are great pastimes. Sims can play instruments, listen to music or try different types of dances, all of which will increase their enthusiasm for this wonderful hobby.
Enthusiasm
Once Sims have gained the Music & Dance Hobby, they’ll have a hidden need to perform musical activities. Since this is similar to Sims 2’s Hobby Enthusiasm, that’s what I’m referring to.
This isn’t visible in the User Interface. However, you’ll receive a notification when your Sim’s hobby enthusiasm is low. Don’t worry; this takes 3 days to drop to this level if your Sim does nothing related to Music & Dance in that time.
Autonomy
Sims with the Music & Dance Hobby Trait will be more likely to do musical activities autonomously. All of these activities will boost a Sim’s hobby enthusiasm. I’ve created a handful of new interactions that are unique to Sims with the Music & Dance Hobby.
Blog About Music & Dance ~ Any Sim can blog about their love for Music & Dance. If you have adeepindigo’s Blogging Hobby mod, then Sims will also gain followers when they post. Additionally, these posts will count towards the total number of blog posts for the aspiration in that mod.Browse Web About Music & Dance ~ Sims can browse the web for ideas about Music & Dance and will gain a moodlet when they’re done.Write Music & Dance Article ~ Sims can write an article to submit to a publication about Music & Dance. When they’ve finished writing it, they can submit it and if it’s a good article and gets published, Sims may gain some fame (if Get Famous is installed).
Talk About Music & Dance Hobby ~ Sims who share a hobby with be able to talk about it with each other. This will give a tiny boost to their enthusiasm.
Social Compatibility
With Version 3.3 of the mod, the Music & Dance Hobby is classed under Idealist Sims and Spirited Sims and will count towards your Sim’s compatibility with them.

As always with my mods, the Music & Dance hobby has a large list of wants attached to it. Many of these are already in-game but some have been created by me and are either a part of The Custom Wants Mod, or included in The Hobby Mod.
