The television and the bookshelf are honored places for those Sims that thrive on stories. The film and literature Sim revels in the comedy and the mystery present in all intricate narratives.

Enthusiasm

Once Sims have gained the Film & Literature Hobby, they’ll have a hidden need to perform activities related to reading or watching movies. Since this is similar to Sims 2’s Hobby Enthusiasm, that’s what I’m referring to.
This isn’t visible in the User Interface. However, you’ll receive a notification when your Sim’s hobby enthusiasm is low. Don’t worry; this takes 3 days to drop to this level if your Sim does nothing related to Film & Literature in that time.

Autonomy

Sims with the Film & Literature Hobby Trait will be more likely to do hobby-related activities autonomously. All of these activities will boost a Sim’s hobby enthusiasm. These activities include, but are not exclusive to:
Writing Books
Reading
Photography
Watching Movies (Movie Hangout)
Telling Group Stories (Outdoor Retreat)
Recording Videos (Get Famous)
Acting (Get Famous)
Puppet Shows (Kids Room Stuff)

New Interactions

I’ve created a handful of new interactions that are unique to Sims with the Film & Literature Hobby.
Join Book Club ~ For a one-off fee of §250, Sims can join a book club (feature list below).
Blog About Film & Literature ~ Any Sim can blog about their love for Film & Literature. If you have adeepindigo’s Blogging Hobby mod, then Sims will also gain followers when they post. Additionally, these posts will count towards the total number of blog posts for the aspiration in that mod.
Browse Web About Film & Literature ~ Sims can browse the web for ideas about Film & Literature and will gain a moodlet when they’re done.
Write Film & Literature Article ~ Sims can write an article to submit to a publication about Film & Literature. When they’ve finished writing it, they can submit it and if it’s a good article and gets published, Sims may gain some fame (if Get Famous is installed).
Talk About Film & Literature Hobby ~ Sims who share a hobby with be able to talk about it with each other. This will give a tiny boost to their enthusiasm.
Social Compatibility
With Version 3.3 of the mod, the Film & Literature Hobby is classed under Homebody Sims and will count towards your Sim’s compatibility with them.

– Book Delivery ~ They’ll be subscribed to the free book delivery service, where a new book is delivered to your Sim once a week. *Duplicates may happen, I can’t help that unfortunately!*
Great Storyteller ~ Sims with the Film & Literature Hobby also have the same features as Sims with the Great Storyteller trait. So Sims with this hobby will tell much better stories than other Sims!
