19th June 2023 ~ Tiny update to add Wedding Receptions to the list of events to host in restaurants.
For some inexplicable reason, in My Wedding Stories, you can’t hold Engagement Dinners, Rehearsal Dinners or Wedding Receptions in restaurants.
No, I don’t understand it either.
So this is a quick and tiny mod to fix that. You should now be able to host your Engagement Dinners, Rehearsal Dinners and Wedding Receptions in a restaurant.
The option to ‘Call Attendees To Activity’ comes up on any plate of food delivered to your table. Clicking on that resolves both the Drinks and the Celebration Feast goals.
It overrides the following XMLs:
situation_CustomGoals_PrePostWeddingParties_EngagementDinner
situation_CustomGoals_PrePostWeddingParties_RehearsalDinner
situation_CustomGoals_PrePostWeddingParties_WeddingReception
It’s worth noting that, as a result of group-size limitations, you can have a maximum of 8 Sims attend an Engagement/Rehearsal dinner at a restaurant. You can invite more but they won’t be included in the group and thus won’t be seated with the rest.
This will require My Wedding Stories. If you don’t own it, you won’t need this mod.
