I know not that many people have liked the changes to social interactions in Growing Together but I’m quite fond of it. The only one I felt was missing was a Boasting, or Bragging, category. Having these interactions inside Small Talk didn’t really feel like it fitted for me, so I set about creating my own category.

So here it is, the Boasting Category.

This mod adds the new Boasting conversation category to your Sims under the Friendly category. It also adds Boasting as a conversation type like or dislike in Create A Sim.
Additionally, Sims can develop a like or dislike for Boasting just the same as any other conversation type.

This mod will NOT be compatible with other mods that edit the following interactions:

If you use my Teenage Interaction Reactions Mod, there are separate versions of both mods available for compatibility.
This means the mod is not compatible with Have Some Personality Please by PolarBearSims.

Naturally, this mod requires the Growing Together expansion. If you don’t have this pack, you won’t need this mod.
There are TWO version available; choose only one.

MissyHissy_BoastingConversationCategory_TIRCompatible <– If you DO have my Teenage Interaction Reactions mod, download this version instead and make sure you grab the appropriate version of that mod as well.

Not really an issue but it’s worth noting that the category won’t always show up for every Sim. It does require your Sim to have one boasting or bragging interaction available. So don’t be alarmed if the category doesn’t show in conversation for your Sim – it just means they have nothing to boast about!
