Archaeology Camp Site Lot Trait

Jungle Adventure is one of those Game Packs that I didn’t think I’d play with that much and it turns out I do. I love it. So to celebrate this pack, I’ve created a lot trait for an Archaeology Camp Site.

You Will Need

This mod requires Lumpinou’s Mood Pack mod. This is important because several of the buffs I’ve created to go with this lot trait require the ‘Excited’ mood. If you don’t have this mod installed, your game will crash if it tries to generate any of those buffs.

Technical Details

The trait is available on any lot; residential, community and rental, so it’s suitable for just about anything.
While on a lot with the trait, Sims will generate Whims relating to archaeology and learning the Selvadoradian skill. Sims will also increase their Archaeology and Selvadoradian Culture skills at a slightly higher rate. If you have frank’s Language Barriers mod, then sims will gain their Selvadoradian language skill slightly faster too.
The trait won’t make much sense with Jungle Adventure so that pack is a requirement.

Features

When sims arrive on the lot, they receive the ‘It’s Dig Time’ buff.

There are a couple of buffs relating to using the archaeology skill on the lot.

There are also 3 Social Interactions available for your sims while they’re on the lot. The ‘Share Excitement Over Dig’ and ‘Tell Excavation Story’ both have custom buffs available.
